County Durham and Darlington PCTs and WPTPCo
The Workplace Travel Plan Company is now working with County Durham and Darlington Primary Care Trusts (PCT) to help them develop a framework Travel Plan for each area. A Steering Group has been created to manage the process. Documents outlining how each PCT will approach Travel Planning are being developed. The aim is to help them manage travel at all their sites, for the benefit of patients, staff and visitors.

Increased Cost of Petrol = Driving Fewer Miles
Reports are coming from America that commuters are reluctantly deciding to turn in their millions to light rail and buses, bicycles and even motorscooters because it is costing them so much to fill up their vehicles.

Building Momentum
Today sees the official launch of the Workplace Travel Plan Company as a founding partner of the Momentum Group. Created to offer larger clients an inclusive service, Momentum is aimed at major developments, where the aim is to influence travel behaviour and deliver sustainable change.
