Travel Plan for Engineering Site on Team Valley, Gateshead
The Workplace Travel Plan Company have recently completed a Travel Plan for an engineering company on the Team Valley Trading Estate, Gateshead, as part of a planning application. The estate has a long history of traffic congestion - due to the success of the estate. Travel Planning will help to reduce the congestion in the future.

County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service
The Workplace Travel Plan Company have completed a Travel Plan for the County Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue Service. Site Specific Travel Plans are now being produced for new Community Fire Stations at Bishop Auckland and Spennymoor.

Residential Travel Plan, Loftus
The Workplace Travel Plan Company have recently completed a Travel Plan for a large residential estate in Loftus, Redcar and Cleveland. The site is being redeveloped and will include a new Primary Health Care and Community Centre.

Commute Smart Week 26 Oct - 1 November 2008
National Commute Smart Week (organised by WorkWise UK) aims to encourage commuters to adopt smarter working and commuting practices. The call for Commute Smart Week is for employees to try out smarter working practices for themselves over the winter, not only to avoid the dark, but also to see the impact it has on the transport networks.
