Sustainable travel plans 'can save businesses money'
Money and time are currently being saved by hundreds of businesses by providing their employees with sustainable travel plans, the Department for Transport (DfT) stated.

Travel Plan Accreditation Success!

The Workplace Travel Plan Company have helped the following organisations achieve Travel Plan Accreditation:

• Gateshead College Baltic Campus - Silver
• Gateshead International Stadium (home of the English Institute of Sport, Gateshead College Academy for Sport - Silver
• Muckle LLP (in Time Central, Newcastle) - Bronze
• Brewin Dolphin (in Time Central, Newcastle - Bronze

This Travel Plan Accreditation Scheme is run by the Tyne and Wear Smarter Choices Team.

Time Central, Newcastle - TPs Accepted

Muckle LLP and Brewin Dolphin occupy Time Central, a prestigeous new building in Newcastle Upon Tyne. Time Central has a Travel Plan, and a requirement for any organisation occupying the building to have a Travel Plan, through a section 106 agreement.

Muckle LLP and Brewin Dolphin have created their Travel Plans using The Workplace Travel Plan Company's Travel Plan Builder. The Workplace Travel Plan Company also manage the Time Central Travel Plan steering group. These Travel Plans have recently been accepted by Newcastle City Council. The two organisations have applied for the Bronze Travel Plan Accreditation from the Smarter Choices Team in Newcastle.
